camora

We don’t want your data.
We can’t even see it.

LAST UPDATED: Effective Date: January 31, 2026

The Short Version

Camora is designed to be a "Zero Knowledge" digital enclave. This means:

  • No Accounts You don't sign up. Your identity is your own.

  • No Analytics We don't track your usage. We don't want to know.

  • Zero Cloud Your data moves between your own devices via peer-to-peer link, never touching our servers.

  • No Extraction We sell software, not your sovereign data.

What We Collect

Absolute Zero

Since Camora has no backend servers for user data, we have no way to collect, store, or process your personal information, photos, documents, or notes. When using Workstation Connect, data is transferred directly between your devices over your local network using TLS 1.3 encryption.

Device Permissions

We request access to:

  • CameraTo capture photos and scan documents.
  • MicrophoneTo record audio for videos.
  • FaceID/TouchIDTo secure the enclave. Authentication stays in the Apple Secure Enclave.
  • FilesOnly if you choose to import documents or notes.

Where Your Data Lives

"In your encrypted enclave."

All data within Camora is encrypted using AES-GCM + HKDF and stored in the app's local sandbox. Each collection—Moments, Documents, Notes—is isolated by its own cryptographic key. If you delete the app without releasing your data, it is destroyed permanently.

NOTE: We cannot reset your enclave password or recover your data. We do not have the keys. You are the sole authority.
